Studio Investigrave is the creator of the surreal horror visual novel and puzzle game Elevator Hitch. The game was originally created for the Spooktober Visual Novel Jam 2022, but its spooky atmosphere, creepy graphics, and unique gameplay soon caught the attention of indie horror fans. The game, which combines escape room mechanics with psychological horror elements, is set entirely inside a 1970s-style elevator that descends to increasingly terrifying levels.

The Journey Begins

You play as Protag, an office worker who gets trapped with a co-worker in a broken elevator. At first, the scene seems normal—until strange and creepy rooms appear at each stop. The game builds to a sense of horror with flesh-covered walls, giant mouths, and spiraling bedrooms.

The setting is reminiscent of the Liminal Space aesthetic, with locations that are both eerie and creepy. Each level is creepy thanks to the spooky atmosphere of this Horror Games, enhanced by the creepy sound design and classic color scheme.
